An induction dose of 5 mg/kg at weeks zero, 2, and 6 is followed by further treatments as essential. Another immunosuppressant, corresponding to azathioprine, is given simultaneously infliximab. An intravenous bolus of cyclophosphamide is reported to be effective in inducing a remission.
